Thanks toÂ Adidas I discovered Fabienne Fafi. Have a look under fashion where I put a little post on her collaboration with Adidas.

Fafi was born and raised in Toulouse France, she started in the graffiti and fine arts scene back in 1994. She is know for her sexy, funny, and sometimes aggressive girl characters.

Designer Marc Jacobs unveils a series of skate decks this season. The skate decks are constructed out of 7-ply Canadian Maple and comes in 2 graphics. The 59â‚¬ decks are available now at all Marc by Marc Jacobs stores with a limited of 100 pieces per graphic.

So I had a chit-chat with the talented artist Lorraine Gelderman-Helb. A dutch painter who moved to Ibiza 3 years ago.

Q: Why did you chose to come and live in Ibiza?
A: Different scene, feeling and life!! Out of the box different comfort zone.
Q: When did you start to paint and being able to live from it?
A: I started to sell them 3 years ago but have been painting for much longer.
Q: What is special about your paintings?
A: Hmm… difficult to say, they are big so rather impressive. You have to fall in love with them, because most of them are abstract. So it’s up to the person, if they see something that appeals to them! I use black light paint in most of my work, it gives the pieces a “glow in the dark” so whenÂ you put a black light spotlight they becomeÂ completely different paintings!!!
